The program is designed for scouts aged 7 - 8 and 9 - 10 years.
A pack that participates in the program should consist of 5-7 people. The cubs arrived in an amount fewer than 5 people are united in the combined pack to participate in the program.
Scouts of 14 - 17 year-olds are invited to work with cub scouts at the activities (those scouts who passed the "Patrol leader School" or those who want to learn how to work with cubs are welcome). As a result of their work and training active, scouts will receive a badge of The leader of Cub scout pack.
The program:
Each cub gets a cub-book after the registration and instructions for producing a malachite box (can be made in the patrol).
In their boxes cubs keep all their crafts, gifts. They can also store their cub book there.
Cub book includes a set of cards with different individual tasks. Performing tasks cubs get stickers which they place into their cub books.
Getting through the tests, competitions and quizzes, cub packs receive signal flags. In the central square there is a high pole, from which strings are pulled in different directions and attached to the ground. On each string the name of the pack is written, it means that each pack has their own thread and they should earn flags every day and tie them to their string. The result will look as a beautiful sun with rays made of packs’ strings. The more hard-working is the pack the more flags it has on the string. When the last flag is tied, a special phrase can be read. To read the phrase the cubs have to learn the semaphore alphabet.
