Staff program on Jamboree «Ural Dimension»
Demands to the staff members:
The age of the staff members – from 18 years.
Staff member have professional skills according to their tasks, they are ready to teach and to learn; ready to act in non-standard conditions and to be of benefit to other people. They are brilliant, managing people, who can be an example for all the scouts to follow.
The staff team will do its best to make this Jamboree unforgettable for everyone. It will show what the modern scouts are capable of when they are all together. It will open the new prospects for communication and development.
Organization of the staff subcamp:
The Jamboree staff lives in its own subcamp called «Konzhak», the subcamp chief is Maria Antropova (Perm)
There will be a kitchen in the staff sub-camp. 3 persons will work there as permanent cooks, other 3 persons will be chosen every day from the staff as assistants.
The staff participants should have their personal equipment: tents, mats, sleeping bags.
Staff programm
The 5th of July - arrival, building the subcamp for staff
5th -13th of July – building the Jamboree camp and working out the program.
14th – 23th of July – Jamboree. Implementing the Jamboree programme, maintaining of the camp life.
The Staff members work in teams, divided into blocks:
-Rover scouts (14-17 years) join the teams of each block and work under supervision of tutors, chosen of the block staff.
-Staff of the activity blocks (Social Block, Forest Block, Catastrophy Medicine, Water Block, Wolf-cubs activities, Activities for scouts, Activities for rovers) are going to organize the work of the blocks according to the Jamboree program.
The headquarters staff members support Jamboree life 24 hours a day providing security, medical service, drinking water, wood, electricity, supporting showers, leading the subcamps, making paper works etc.
Visiting Kungur and the Kungur Ice Cave is planned for the stuff during the camp.
23th -25th of July – getting the camp off
26th -30th of July – rafting along the rivers of Perm Kray. We invite everyone to have a rest and to sum up the totals of Jamboree.
Membership fees
1000 rubles before 01.03.2013 (meals, visiting the Kungur Cave, rafting along the Usva river).
